im a christian..i do pray hard..i forsee many things,many incidents,past or future wen im asleep..can that be called as a vision or jusr a normal dream?? wats the difference b/wdream n vision.? pls help me.. God blz u.

Really, only you can discover if your dreams are actually predictions of things to come; I agree with keeping a journal of them. I've had many dreams come true, too. Over time, I've come to understand they have a certain quality about them that my other more usual and normal dreams do. They are extremely vivid; sometimes happen more than once or even more than ten times, they pack a real punch; I can't seem to forget about them until the events actually happen, and they are always more dramatic than what really happens in reality.
I believe a part of God's spirit resides within each of us who have made a moral decision; and those of us who truly desire to find God in our lives. This part of his spirit is the "kingdom within" or "God within you" or also known by other names in other religions. The spirit within.
This spirit within often tries to communicate to us through our dream time when our awake time is too busy to spend time with God in prayer and meditative communion. So, sometimes to get our attention, those of us with certain dreaming abilities can and do get some information in our dreams that does come true.
God, after all, looks after us and does what he can from his abode in Eternity and Infintiy as Spirit to help us out in life.
Visions have qualities about them that normal dreams don't have. That would be my best advice for you as you begin to keep the journals and remember the dreams.
Also look for symbolism that is meaningful to you personally - not necessarily meanings behind symbols that other people say it is. Your subconscious is very personal to you, and all symbolism from your spirit self to your subconscious self to your awake self is highly personalized and tailored to you and you only.
If it's not symbolic and things come true, then that won't be hard to discern. Do not be dimayed to find out that most people will blow off your dreams - I know, been there and done that; what good are they if they can't help someone?
So... I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers; listen to your spirit within and see if you shouldn't start spending more time each day in prayer, thanksgiving and worshipful meditation?

Don't worry about the past events you dream about; that's normal. If the things you "foresee" (that's the future) come true, then it's a rare gift, but it's not necessarily from God. Be careful. The Bible gives us many examples of God using dreams to communicate with people, but on the other hand, Satan could be showing you those things to trick and deceive you.
The most important thing, as always, is to keep-on-praying!

A vision happens while awake, kind of in a trance like state. You are having dreams. Everybody has dreams but God does give certain people dreams that fortell events. If it is of God then they dreams will be true.

hey sam! well, i believe that maybe God has seen your heart and has given you the gift of seeing the past or future. I think the real answer lies in your heart, if you know how to interpret your dreams and the outcome is what you expected, then it's a gift. For example, my mom dreams about weird things but she interprets them and eventually what she interprets happens...its awesome! :]

You will have to find your answer from God. What does God tell you about these dreams? I cannot answer your question because God has not given me any word for you, but he will give you a word of knowledge if you ask him and are diligent.

The difference is whether they come true or not. Keep a diary and a copious journal and check mark those that actually come to pass.
