Wow. Please don't listen to people saying it only takes a few weeks. Even ear lobes take 6-8 weeks minimum. Bellybutton piercings are longer, deeper piercings than earlobes and take a lot longer to fully heal. Trish is right- 6 months to a year, sometimes longer. If you don't keep up your aftercare of washign and sea salt soaks, it'll take longer. If you use alcohol, peroxide, or other chemicals, it'll take longer. If you aren't careful and snag it on your pants and stuff like that, it'll take longer. There's no piercing that heals in 2 weeks. I heal very well and quickly, and my navel took a good 6-8 months. You should keep up your aftercare and not change the jewelry until it's fully healed. Good luck!

They take 6 months to a year to heal.
Peroxide, rubbing alcohol, bactine and neosporin will just prolong healing time and irritate the piercing.
Also don't change jewelry until it fully heals, and don't rotate it.
Clean it by doing sea salt soaks, leave it alone apart from that, and you should be fine.

It usually takes at least a week or two, try to avoid scratching it. And if pierced improperly it will scar indefinitely. Daily washing and using peroxide with help prevent infections.
