I have been walking in the indescribable Presence of God after I returned to the Garden and Kingdom of God after my salvation and subsequent spontaneous, involuntary Baptism of the Holy Spirit on March 13. Yet Jesus Christ says there will be times when we will seek Him and not find Him, times of drought. I have had a spiritual abundance of the Presence of God (Holy Spirit/Shechinah) since my Baptism, and see God present in everything I do and the entire world that I perceive.
Yet, I read someone on here who had the Presence leave them after 7 years and then they had to walk by faith. This would scare me, although I have faith in God, to not dwell in His Presence for the rest of my life.
After your Baptism and indwelling (enlightenment), has the Presence of God left you for any reason? When? If so, did it ever come back or did you ever recover it?
thanks

Actually, He does exist... but I pity you for closing yourself off to even the possibility. Knowing God is the greatest thing in my life after years of falling away.

Evessheild777... that is the exact feeling I have now. I was an agnostic before my spontaneous and involuntary Baptism ("like a thief in the night" Jesus Christ came to me 18 hours after my salvation through Him, and when He came he helped me realize Christ in me, the hope of Glory), didn't know if God existed or not, I was indifferent, and spiritually dead. Now, after my experience and indwelling, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I am a child of God, and I have felt His immense, indescribable, unearthly love all at once in an absence of time and myself, but only Him and Eternity, He became one with my spirit...

The alchemical marriage, the spiritual betrothal... call it different things, but it's enlightenment, it's knowing who you are and you have returned to the divine source from which you came. I see the spark of the divine in everyone now, and it grieves my heart to see suffering and indecency. I finally understand the willingness to suffer that Jesus went through, and I would gladly go through it for Him, no matter how bad it was, it's but a short time compared to eternity with God. I am bold for God and love God with all of me, because God loved ME firs
Anyways, in a nutshell, I agree, that's what it is... to know yourself.

You can walk with the Lord but not it the Garden it has been sealed off from all mankind ever since Adam and Eve had to leave it. God never leaves you, you might leave him but he never leaves you.

A person who has been a baptized and believing Christian for many years may have a season in their lives where God will sit back at a distance. It usually means that God is allowing that person to grow... I didn't know that this would happen either, but it did happen to me. I couldn't understand it at first since I wasn't taught about this, and I had not done anything wrong... but there I was, and I could not feel the presence of God anymore. I was confused for awhile and it WAS scary, but I learned to get into the word and WORK. I mean, instead of going off of all of that constant, comforting and loving flow of the Holy Spirit... I went off of faith. I didn't want to, but apparently... you can't fight it. I learned that I needed to take this as a compliment and to know that even though it hurt... that I was growing up and stretching my spiritual wings. After the season of growth, I found that God's Spirit DID return, but it wasn't exactly like before.
The thing that was different is that God was explaining things to me on a higher level. I began to understand things.... deeply. Much more than the understanding that I had of those same things when I recieved them by faith years ago. Also, some new things I had not considered or realized. I also learned to love Him unconditionally (without doubt) and take suffering with grace. My level of trust was beyond that which I could have ever dreamed.
Just know that if this happens to you, that it is time to grow... know that you are switching from milk to solid meat. Know that you are operating now, not only on the presence of God but by trusting and obeying His words as He stands back... and even if you cannot feel His joy in seeing you do this, your mature enough to KNOW that He is pleased.
It is not that you don't need His presence, God knows that you do, He loves to give us joy and comfort us with His love... but it is at these times that He allows you to move beyond His loving, and comforting presence... even beyond faith... to recieve KNOWLEDGE. This knowledge is not like "knowing God" it is really, really knowing Him, almost like seeing Him face to face. It is having less need to ask Him "why" and it is the ability to love Him and thank Him more with no boundaries or conditions. It is knowledge of who He is, and how real He is... it is pure knowledge of who you are to Him and how much He truly loves you.

Your euphoria may wain, but His presence will never leave you. The presence of God is a part of you. The Holy Spirit has always been with you your entire life, it's just that you were unsure of the fact.
His presence is like the "Footprints in the Sand" poem.

It's very doubtful that you could ever fall from grace at this point. How could you ever possibly doubt His guidance now?

WE know that it's great to know the truth in life, but many people will doubt our living experiences. Those people who expect death in order to know God will surely die in their uncertainty.
The un-enlightened will HAVE to physically die in order to face judgment. This I know. However, we now know our judgment in life. We now have our eyes opened (knowing both good and evil).
Jesus explained it all to His disciples when they asked Him about speaking in parables.

Are we the ones that are supposed to help the blind to see what they truly reject?
As for my spontaneous enlightenment, mine took 35 years and once I realized the truth I know that God has been with me forever. Read your Bible. It will have meaning now that it didn't before. I realized that I have had revelation my entire life. God "spoke" to me visually much more in my young childhood. I just had no idea that it was God at the time, it was so perfectly natural.
I am who I am, because of Him.

Joshua a million:5b states, "As i became into with Moses, so i visit be with you; i visit in no way depart you nor forsake you." As believers, all of us have 'mountain magnificent reviews' the place we sense so close to to God we expect of we could no longer stay to tell the tale with out that feeling. inspite of the shown fact that to stroll in emotion incredibly than faith is risky territory to tread. all of us, unavoidably, will finally end up lower back in tha valley. Psalm 23:3 states, "even although I walk interior the path of the valley of the shadow of loss of life, i visit concern no evil, for you're with me; Your rod and Your team, they convenience me." we can be interior the valleys, yet God will consistently be with us. you're on magnificent of a mountain good now, and it won't final invariably. God's presence isn't a 'magical' adventure that only happens. in case you're dilligent to maintain in His be conscious and walk in His techniques, he will in no way forsake you. in case you sense separated from God (which i've got been by means of), this is not God who's sponsored away, this is you. i've got been there, executed that, and that i comprehend, by means of sturdy circumstances, and interior the path of the roughest which you are able to imagine, God is often with me, and that i will consistently turn to Him. often times He solutions in silence.... he's super on coaching persistence.... to anticipate His will to be executed, for His answer to be heard. safeguard your heart and your strategies, with the aid of fact the devil could additionally look as an angel of sunshine (2 Corinthians 11:14). He can do properly to misinform us into thinking we are having God-like reviews.... that's why we are to attempt the spirits (a million John 4:a million). Even conversing in tongues can come from the devil.... and you comprehend this via whether or no longer it conforms to Biblical concepts. be attentive to your emotions.... do no longer get caught up in them. concentration on the be attentive to God, and he will shop you on the magnificent path (Proverbs 3:6). God's advantages to you and that i pray that God provide you awareness, know-how and faith in abundance. additionally, please do no longer basically examine those few verses.... examine the encircling ones.... learn God's be conscious (Psalm 119:11, and surrounding verses). shop God's be conscious on your heart. God bless.

Well my garden did crappy this year. I will try to spend more time weeding, mulching, and planting fresh new varieties. I won a garden award once, but I'll have to put in a lot of effort to get to that point again.
And as far as your gods garden, well he just doesn't exist.
