I've watched episodes of Americas Next Top Model and always wondered what type of camera's the photographers are shooting with. They will have the camera in some way hooked up to a computer and the pictures come up on the screen as soon as they take it.

Does anyone know the type of cameras and computer software they use for these shoots?

Any DSLR can be tethered to a lap top for shooting.

Any high resolution digital SLR, just connected via USB to a lap-top. Some don't bother with the latter.

Hassleblads used to be the favorite cameras but I don't know what they are using these days.

hassleblad mostly on that show, some is real, as in the link up some of it is just made for TV - pretending they are hooked up live and the retouching has been done by magic?
