Prior to the West, the Soviet Union had and EXTREME amount of force in Easter Asia, coupled with their modern air force/planes to repel a Japanese invasion.
Japan had lost battles to the USSR and the two signed a Soviet-Japanese Neutrality Pact and were not going to see war with one another until 1945. Japan turned to the U.S. and the USSR turned to the Axis.
When the Axis forces turned to the USSR it would take time for USSR forces to move from their Japanese stations to the West.

Europe could win. Asians do no longer stick jointly at abode. basically whilst they have been stranded in another land became into whilst they caught jointly like grasping cowards. Theres no democracy in Asia so as that they have not got any believe in government taxing them for a militia. Too few could settle for. Many presidents could be assasinated out of jealousy. Asia = conflict interior it'self. devoid of Nukes, asians have been very on the brink of surrendering everytime. don't be thinking have been undesirable as heck cuz weren't. Russia helped that's why asians have been extremely waiting to hold on a splash. yet Russia is likewise undesirable guy nonetheless. Commi.

Asia is a continent not a country. The only country Russia fought against in Asia during WW2 was Japan. The famous and bloody battle of Halkin Gol took place in 1st September
1939 and the west didn't pay attention because on the same
day Hitlerite Germany invaded Poland;in that battle more than
half a million men were involved and the Russians won by their steamroller tactics;the Japanese were apalled by the Russian wave after wave of attacking men disregarding
death and totally indifferent to losses...the Japanese suffered
the most horrible defeat in their history and never again during the war attacked Russia;Stalin was afraid that the Japanese would attack him along with their German allies and he didn't dare draw reinforcements from the east to support his crumbling front against the Germans;only when his chief spy Sorge informed him from Japan that the Japanese had no intention to attack Russia, did he turn to the
far eastern command of general Athanasenco and his army of 25 heavily armed divisions*, trained to fight in extreemely cold weather ,in order for Stavka(Russian High Command)to prepare for the Russian counterattack of winter 1941 against the Germans.Again Russia attacked Japan in August 8th 1945,for obvious reasons (agreed to attack after German surrender) 48 hours before Japan surrendered unconditionally.

Defeat Asia? Damn...I knew those Asians were fractious but in all of WW2, Ivan only fought the Japanese. Let us set the stage. Americans and allies had beaten the Japanese back to their home islands by Aug 1945. The Big Three Allies (Churchill, Truman, and Stalin) met at Yalta and one of the ancillary agreements was that Russia was to enter the war against Japan six months after Nazi Germany surrendered. In August 1945, we had lost some 70,000 casualties (19000 KIA) at Okinawa and projected casualties in an invasion of Japan could be as high as 1,000,000. The Japanese still maintained large numbers of ground fighters in China and Manchuria. Russia's entry into the war against Japan was designed to keep those Japanese troops on the mainland. Germany surrendered in May 1945 and Russia was bound to join against Japan in Dec 1945. We dropped the atomic bombs on Japan in August 1945 and the Soviets rushed into the fight to assault Manchuria. It is thought that Japan was hoping to use Russia to be the go between for a negotiated end to the war against the US. Combined with the atomic bombings, Russia's attack in Manchuria pounded home the Japanese agreement to unconditional surrender (and the only condition allowed was that we wouldn't hang the Japanese Emperor).

The Soviet Union extended all the way to the Pacific Ocean... interestingly, after the 1939 Japanese invasion of Mongolia was repulsed by Soviet units under General Georgiy Zhukov, Soviet Union and Japan were at peace until 1945.
The Soviets declared war on Japan again in August 8, 1945... 2 days after the first atomic bomb was dropped.
The Soviets had NO war against China, and didn't really involve themselves there

First, Russia wasn't at war with a continent, Asia. Russia mainly fought a Western front against the Germans and had advanced through the Baltic countries, eventually ending up in Berlin, Germany. Fighting against the Chinese, they tried to induce China to become a Communistic country. China divided into two nations: Communist China with ties to Russia and Nationalist China with ties to the United States.

Another basic history homework question!
After the Soviet Forces defeated Hitler, by capturing Berlin in the West, many of their troops were transfered to the far East and invaded the territory of China to fight against the Japanese Occupation Forces, the managed to defeat the Japanese, and shortly afterwards the territory was handed back to the Chinese, to manage for themselves.

The Russians didn't fight the Japanese in WWII. They had enough of that from the war those 2 countries fought not to far to back from WWII. That was when the Japanese beat the russians and shocked the civillized world, how could Asians beat a Caucasian force!! That was the mind frame at the time.
