Amanda don't forget they don't include the one that we issue visas to and they are from all over the world. The number issed is 8-9 million a year and over 3 million of them do not honor it and when it expires they hide out, just like many or the 911 freaks did. Also they caught about 800,000 trying to croos th eborder last year and they , the Gov. state tht for everyone they catch FIVE get by, do the math. Also the 3 million a year has been going on for decades, just getting bigger each year.

The deal is the visa jumpers are not included in that number. Then the 800,00 caught, being 1 in 5 would mean 4 million get through down there. Don't think they are not coming in from Canada. Another interesting thing that no one mentions, except Rep. Tancredo is that 1 in 7 caught coming in from Mexico are from TERROR sponsoring nations. So if 800,000 are caught then over 100,000 are from there.
Just in Clinton's and Bush's terms we have allowed the VISA thing to on and that would mean over 30 million if you just allow for 2 million a year. Then add the "fluffy" number of 12-15 million and you have over 42 MM. You can get the stats from the gov. or go and read the book Outrage by Dick Morris, he has it well documented as Tancredo.

I hope it doesn't mean that but I don't trust Bush on this one. On Dobbs and other news they stated he would cave to special interest groups. Something about the employed, which I means lets them and the employer who has been breaking federal law off the hook.

IT'S VERY SIMPLE SECURE THE BORDERS. THEN FIND OUT WHATS IN HERE. They have no idea. Rep. Hunter built a small 15 mile fence nad ccording to their stats cut illegal immigration and crime 90%! What is the problem.

Victor I didn't know that but it was 3 times as many, so these number are correct. Funny how athe government doesn't report it or is that the DUTY of the media and they don't want us to know. Clinton increse legal immigration to 2.5 miilion a year and Bush cut it in half and last week they said he cut it to 1 MM. So that means over 30 milion new legal Americans

Snow it states 38 million, but why doesn't the government mention the 3 million that jump visas every year. Also in 1986 the number turned out to be 3 tiems as many, so my figure of 40-60 milion could be on track. Take care.

For the President and the Democratic Leadership, it does mean something like that.
For the Republican Party and the main body of Democratsm, it does not. But the Republicans and the main body of the Democratic Party are not leadership, and the coming election will go a long way to deciding what will happen.
Amnesty, by the way, would give us those numbers of instant Americans, and a soical welfare cost that is estimated to be at some 2.2 trillion dollars over the coming years. Food for thought.
$2.2 trillion illegal alien taxpayer sticker shock
2/3 of immigrants cost Americans $22,449 a year, shows new study

Since there is already an estimated 30+ million, that's what the idiots in Washington are headed towards. We don't want or need these criminals that are already here!
I hate these @ssholes that keep CLAIMING that we only have 12 million illegal aliens here. They have been saying we had 12 million illegals for over 3 years! Do ya think the number has increased over the past 3 years?
NO INSTANT AMERICANS! Close the border and crack down on employers! That's the best way to have "immigration reform."

Yes.
In the final analysis, that is EXACTLY what it means. This country does not have the balls to send back millions of illegals because it would be "too disruptive" socially and economically. The Supreme Court will someday deal with the "anchor baby" issue, and will come down on the side of the illegals because it will be seen as the most humane and least disruptive option.
With the help of the ACLU and other legal groups, and a congress that will no doubt firmly be in the hands of the Dems after the election, "reform" will march on and will be an amnesty in everything but name.
Bet on it.
Between political correctness, "humaneness," expedience, and moral cowardice, you can BET that we will see an amnesty.

Back in 1986, about 3 times the estimated number of illegals, wound up getting amnesty.
So, 10 to 20 million estimated here now would most likely end up as 30 to 60 million getting amnesty.
They would just rush the border and get fake documents and people to lie in their behalf like the others did before them.

that would be amnesty, reform would be to change the status quo so it would not include 40 to 60 instant citizens. first build the fence, then the illegals need to go home either on their own or we will assist them. i say that we not allow any further immigration as it will muck things up beyond what has been done by our government and business. think of the number of people there will be in the U.S. if we allow continued immigration until all the anchor babies are of age (21) and start coming to the U.S with all their family members. the cheap comes out expensive.

Yes, the Dimocrats in Congress want to give all the 20 to 38 million illegal aliens in our country amnesty so that they will all become citizens, and then vote for Dimocrats. Once they are citizens the illegals will bring in tens of millions of their relatives. Its a brilliant and treasonous strategy. I hope that Americans won't fall for that bullsh*t, but they just might. Electing a Dimocrat president and Congress will guarantee that frightening outcome!

The term should be banned if not explained
It could mean anything...
...from securing all borders and deporting everyone..
..to giving amnesty (legalize or even give a way to citizenship) to 12M illegals

Pretty much!
We dont need immigration reform, that is political speak for "nothing is going to change".
When are our elected officials going to enforce the laws on our books already!
The ACLU is a bunch of morrons! They sent a letter to the police where I live, questioning some actions that they may have asked for proof of ID during a traffic stop. Apparently we are supposed to have a separate set of cops just to check immigration status.! ALL COPS SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHECK IMMIGRATION STATUS, ITS THEIR JOB TO PROTECT THE CITIZENS. If i get stopped for speeding, can i call the ACLU because its the dept. of Transportation's job to stop speeders, not the police dept.?

Hillary, Obama and John McCain would like that to happen just that fast. And, as an added bonus, they are against making English the national language.

That's NOT the type I would be open to. No way no how. That would be a blanket amnesty. NO I wouldn't think that would ever happen.
