My sister is 17 and she always brags about her boyfriend and I hate it. She talks about how great her life is and how she would totally hate to be me. She says how guys rate her 10 and that guys probably rate me a 1 or 2 and that sucks. I'm not bad-looking. I hate when she brags, my parents don't care. What do I do?

When someone brags it means they are insecure. Ignore her and be the better person. She's delusional about reality and it gives her pleasure to make you and others feel badly about themselves.

Realize that sisters do these things... and sometimes, those with a LOW sense of self-esteem tend to brag and make their lives seem more interesting than it really is.
Feel sorry for your sister, instead...if she goes around bragging to people outside of your home, she soon won't have many friends... people can't stand braggers....
Your sister is trying to make herself FEEL better than she really does. It's not about YOU, it's about her lack of self-worth.... low self esteem is an awful thing.

Ignore her. When She says stuff like that tell her to go fly a kite and your satisfied with your life. Seriously what kind of sister is that. Also give her your nastiest look, like you don't give a flyin Fu*k. And tell her you would not trade nothin in the world to be her and her fake life cuz in the end nothing is perfect. And point out a flaw or two of hers like a pimple on her face or looks like she has gained some weight.

Sounds like she has self-esteem issues, and she's trying to make you feel inferior so she can feel better. Very sad that she attaches so much of her worth to her looks, since that will only last for so long. If that's truly all there is to her, she will surround herself with equally shallow people who will not be there for her when she needs them, and will ditch her at the first sign of age.
Ignore her when she does this to you and she may quit.

hahah my sister is the SAME way
but it may be because of insecurity
or mayby she is just in shock
she will everntually shut up
and just remember
soon ull be able to do the same and drive HER crazy!
