No. But my boyfriend and I had a dog that we adopted from the pound. He was soo cute- he was already named Hank, he was a black lab/pitbull mix. We were living in a house with some roommates, we had a big back yard, and for a couple of years, he had a really good life with us. But, all of us roommates had to go seperate ways, and my boyfriend and I couldn't get into a place with a yard. We were trying to find him a home, we had rented a kennel for him in town, we did everything. But, it was no life for him, and we had to figure out something for him. It was the hardest day, probably of our lives, to give him back to the pound. Have you even been to the pound? It's the saddest thing ever. It was the only time I saw my boyfriend cry. We visited the pound every day, so that we would know as soon as he was adopted, and if it was getting to be too late, then we would buy him again so that he would not be put down. We went there for about 4 days, and on the 4th day, he was adopted. The lady said she couldn't tell us who or anything, but that it was a lady in her mid 30's. We were so happy. Pets are some of the most wonderful things in this world, and it really is all of our responsibilities to give them good lives- we learned our lesson, for sure.
LOVE YOUR PETS! They need you~

No, but I think it's possible. My son's "girlfriend" (she's 34) said she was going to kick his dog across the kitchen on Thanksgiving. Whether she would ever do it is another matter, but that kind of attitude would be enough.

I never have. But if it came down to getting rid of my man or my cat, yes, it would be the man!
