Yup, Im asking the question that every dog owner wants to know...
How big
He is now about 40kg at just over 7 1/2 months and is about 23 inches at the shoulders give or take) and is built like a tank, with no fat but loose skin
He is supposable a Neo mastiff so I was expecting a big dog... how big is the question
I got him from a rescue that was closing down, so I can not contact them in regards to to any of this

26-31 inches and 150 lbs or more, sorry don't know what that is in kg.

I wouldn't trust anything a rescue tells me about the probability of what breed your dog is. They don't do any genetic testing to find out what paticular breed or mix breed each dog is. They only go off of a Dog Breed book that gives pictures and a description of what the breed looks like. Sometimes rescues take the word of the person who surrenders their pet and that could also be totally wrong. If you want to know more infomation about a purebreed specifics, go to the AKC website and look it up. Here's a link to the page for Mastiff's.

from 24 - 31 inches at the shoulder with a weight from 140 to 180 pounds (although some are both taller and heavier)

Neopolitan Mastiff's get to be huge! I hope you knew what you were getting yourself into! The males typically weigh 150 lbs or 70 kg!

well if he's supose to be a neo mastiff he's gonna be a big dog...40kg at 7 months...that's crazy...lol

well great job for getting him from a rescue.thats where i got my dog.my dog is part rotty german shapard,and collie;she was supposed to be big,but she is knee high and im5'10".look at your dogs paws that will give you a hint.really,you can never know how big it will get,it will probably get big but feeding it good natural food will help it grow.

males can get into the 150lbs (68 kgs ?) range if pure neo.
he doesnt sound like he'll make it to quite that weight, but will probably do more growing.
