Restaurants and malls are the perfect place to start. Get some work experience, then apply to places

your best bet at 15 is fast food places, paper routes, and restaurants. Most restaurants will hire you as a bus boy (or girl) when youre15. You could get in the door now and then work up to waitress when you turn 16. (waitresses with a good personality make great tips). I got my first job at the age of 15, working at an after school program. After that when I was 16 I worked in an animal hospital. If you like animals, call your local vets/animal shelters, and see if they need a kennel worker. You'd be taking out dogs, feeding them, cleaning cages, giving baths occassionally, general cleaning, etc.

The economy REALLY sucks now, and depending where you are it could be even worse. I saw in the paper today that over 5000 people applied to work at a new Wal-Mart in Cleveland that had 300 jobs to fill.

Best advice I can give is apply everywhere you shop, that way the employee discount will do you the most good?

Good luck!

You can also look for really small business's like a flowershop or candy shop. Thats what I did, I got my job when I was 15.
