Spend some time with him outside of myspace - try hanging out a few times. You should then be able to tell whether it's going somewhere.
Maybe could mean that he doesn't know you well enough right now, or he could just be trying to get some.

i don't think that you're question is really "Could I have a crush on him?" because it seems that you do. the only way to find out for sure is to ask him, and even if it seems risky there's nothing you can lose in the situation.

one thing its a big different when it comes to the chatworld and in reality... and for me if he likes you he will not teach you foolish things and just accept you for what you are like is different with flirting that naturally comes out with sex. if i were you there are still people that will like you for what you are.
