there is such a thing as evolution. natural selection and genetics comprise two major topics of evolution. try this link for a simple explanation.

i have actually caused evolution. i am a researcher. we believe strongly that evidence points to the fact that the earth used to operate at around 40% oxygen millions of years ago. so we bred flies in our current 21%, 10%, 40% and 60% for about 2000 generations over the course of many years. the larger the oxygen, the larger the flies grew. they of course all started at the same size. by the end, we had caused them to ADAPT to their environments.

Micro-evolution does exist and is support by both sides of the aisle (ID vs. Evolution). So yes, in that respect, evolution does exist. The difference stems from Evolutionists taking the leap of faith to assume Macro-evolution exists...which to date, is nothing more than just a leap of faith. They have yet to find any empirical evidence to substantiate the argument for Macroevolution.
