Just after waking, my dog suddenly started prancing daintily through the grass for no reason while I was walking her. She's a strange one, love her dearly. Mixed breeds have great personalities.
Then, walking in from the cold weather, I could smell the dark roast coffee I'd brewed was ready.
Nothing spiritual. Just another day to be glad to be alive.
Pangel, you're in Glasgow? My grandfather grew up across the Clyde from you in Greenock before running to Canada (long story but it did involve assaulting a rude clergyman).

I smiled today when one of my ESL writing students had a "lightbulb moment" about a grammatical issue she'd been struggling with. The "spiritual value" of a smile... I don't know. It does make you feel better though!

I smiled when I checked my email. Someone who loves me very much sent me a new email. :o)
The spiritual value of a smile can't be measured. It's validating, it's reassuring, it's comforting....

I took my kids Christmas shopping, and they surprised me with an early gift --a cut and color at the mall. The very thing I needed to lighten my mood, brighten my spirits, and make me feel pretty. After just remodeling my home and then hosting the Thanksgiving dinner, I was more than ready for a little pampering.

My children, as I sat for a moment on the edge of their beds before waking them for school. Value...untold; how can you put a value on simple love? It warms you from the inside out!!

My two cats play fighting.
The first bite of the brownies I made.
When I went to get into my car & my door was not frozen shut.
Seeing Pangel say she was there if I needed. I had a sorta' rough day today.
