This kid at my friends school was sent to the AP (assistant principal) for wearing a shirt that said "i love jewish and muslim girls". it wasn't graphic, explicit, just said i (heart) jewish and muslim girls.

should he have been disciplined?

they dont have uniforms, very lax dress code. basically they can't have anything too short or that promotes gang activity/violence/drugs.

I don't see what was wrong with that. If the boy was doing it to offend Jewish and Muslim students, then maybe, but I don't see the point in punishing a boy for advertising/expressing ('heart') love.

I don't find anything wrong with that. What terrible thing could come out of wearing something like that?? It's not hurting anyone, and if they don't have a dress code I don't really see their problem.

I don't agree with disciplining that.

Now, if the shirt said, "I hate Shiksas," then there'd be a problem. That would be promoting hate.

At least it didn't show a swastika and say Tötet alle Juden (roughly Kill All Jews in German). I don't see why he should be in trouble.
