Dear brother,
Are you whole-heartedly supporting the KJV or are you being sarcastic?
I love the KJV, too, but I think the NIV, the NASB, & the RSV are also accurate translations. They use simpler English, that's all.

Apparently, you have never studied the languages of the Bible.
There is no such thing as a perfect translation from Hebrew or Hellenistic Greek into English, whether in the KJV or any other translation of the Bible. Had you ever studied Greek or Hebrew, you would know this.

Well I wouldn't attempt to disprove the Authorized Version I hold so dear. The KJ translators did an excellent job of preserving God's word. Although all versions of the Bible contain some ancient minor copyist errors due to the tedious job of hand copying texts the Bible is the most reliable ancient book known to man with over 24,000 ancient manuscripts for the New Testament alone. All minor copyist errors have been adequately explained and even if they were not no doctrine , truth or teaching is affected by these relatively few copyist errors. I believe that the Authorized King James Version is the most reliable of all English Bibles because it comes from the Textus Receptus or the majority text as opposed to the Westcott and Hort or minority texts.
There are no mistakes or contradictions in the Bible only minor copyist errors having no impact on the inspired word of God.

Joseph was brought down into Egypt when he was still a young man and therefore he learned the language. His brothers did not recognize him and therefore he spoke through an interpreter before he allowed them to know who he was.
The OT was written in Hebrew and the NT was written in Greek. When men transcribed the scriptures into English they did so in KJ English.

So, how did it get translated from imperfect Hebrew to perfect English.
The KJV is a very good translation, but I can read Hebrew and I can tell you it's not perfect. The use of the word "Lucifer" is one. And so is the use of the word virgin as Hebrew has no word for virgin in the English sense.

So people who speak another language aren't worthy of the PERFECT revelation? Who knew God favored the English so much. Of course it can't be disproven without a time machine (which would most likely prove that the event never happenned at all).

*blink* You genuinely believe that the King James Version of the Bible is accurately enough translated to trust to be perfect?
*shakes head* I hate to tell you this, but the KJV is very badly translated, and in some instances, passages were actually altered to be more in line with what King James wanted them to say.
The KJV is a beautiful piece of literature, but it is not at all an accurate translation of the Bible.
