Nazis are by defenition an evil bunch.
Not all mosques spread evil. If you dont attend one you wouldnt know where to protest. Not all Islamic's are Fundamentalist terrorists.
If a Preacher is shown to be promoting hate, then by all means have him stopped, by protest if necessary.
But dont tar everybody with the same brush. Thats what the Nazi's tried and look what happened there.

SO many reasons..
Because Nazi are no longer in power or a real threat. People now protest against them.
In the past Nazis were underestimated, and now the radical Muslims are underestimated.
Now people can protest against the Nazis, but no one was able to when they were in power. Even family members are not safe from each others when it came to the Nazis. If feels like history is repeating itself.
Think about it. If you protest the Nazis! you are protesting injustice, but if you protest against Islam, even the radical Islam. You will be considered intolerant, and disrespecting others religions.
PC, people want to be PC, but not toward the Nazis, because they killed many people. although Muslims killed many as well, but there is always reasoning who does that. Only the radicals for example.

I don't think that's entirely true. You only have to look at that Muslim preacher who has been jailed (Hamza, isn't it?) and may even to extradited to the US for inciting racial hatred with his preaching. That sort of thing isn't going unnoticed or challenged.
To the first answer, though, I think you're wrong. We don't HAVE TO respect people's religious beliefs. That's the problem with society- because something's a religion we're not allowed to challenge it or question its validity and place in our society. Religion is an incredibly motivating and powerful force, but it's protected by this invisible 'oh, you can't say that- it's their religion!' barrier in our countries. WHY can't we ask serious questions and ask them to explain outlandish claims and life-affecting teaching they give?
If they want to be an influence on people and part of our society then all religions need to join the 21st century and answer some serious questions, not hide behind their invisible barrier.

Aside from the absurdity and prejudice of comparing Islam with Nazi, you do realize we have something called freedom of religion guranteed in the Bill of Rights, correct? Granted, this wouldn't affect peoples right to protest, but people in America has created a cultural norm that you leave people and their religion alone based on the same idea. Can you give some example of what exactly is so inflammatory that is being taught in these mosques that would cause people to ignore their respect for religious diversity to protest outside of Mosques?
What if people started lining up outside your church and started protesting?

Probably because many people desperately want to believe, against all of the physical evidence, that islam is a "religion of peace".
Consider, for a moment, the koran. In it, there is ONE verse concerning "love"...and it's about Moses. The REST of the koran has 1 of every 55 verses about violence, intolerance and waging war on Christians and Jews. Interesting? This is FACT, not opinion.

probably because most of their families have in the long term been more affected by the European wars than any other wars in history and are more upset by the Nazi's managing to rear their ugly head, in case they start again the murderous regime that they implemented in Germany,

Because Nazis are making christianity look bad. Muslims who preach are making Islam look bad and that's what the media and government want. They have to remind us who is the enemy and only show the negative sides of Islam.

In the Qu'ran it teaches tolerance of all religions, just as most Islamic preachers preach to their people. Islam is a positive religion. Read up.
Most Muslims do not believe the way the terrorists do. Just as most Christians are not crazy fundies.
