I want a new dog, my last one has passed on and I am looking for a small small SWEET dog. I need it to be free though. I am in the Orlando florida area. Does anyone know where to look?

Why not try rescuing a dog from a shelter/pound?
You will pay a small fee, which covers the vaccinations etc which you will have to pay anyway for a "free" dog.
All these sweet abandoned puppies/dogs are waiting there for someone to give them a second chance. Why don't you be one of the people who step up to the plate and make a difference.

I recommend that you look on here for a small dog http://orlando.craigslist.org/pet/ Once in a while there are people who have to give away their little dogs, because they are moving, work too much and don't have time for it, or their kids don't take care of it like they promised to do when the dog was bought. They decide to find a home for it themselves instead of surrendering it to a shelter. There are a lot of them that are "re-homed" for $20 to $100,as well. I'm sure you'll find one soon enough.

Adopting dogs form the shelter doesn't take much. And those dogs are sweet and usually healthy. Help a poor pup in the shelter and go pick one out! Good luck :)

Free I dont know but for a small fee. Animal Shelters!!!!!! there the best place to find dogs. And the sweetest dogs.

Go to your local shelter. There will be a small fee and you will be giving a dog a badly needed home.

Try PuppyFind.com! They have a bunch of cute small and nice puppies. They have all different breeds too. My favz the Goldendoodle. You should at least look at the site.

Yes! Go to www.craigslist.com.
There, you can choose your city (area) and click "Pets" in the community section.
You can type in "dog" or whatever you'd like.
There are tons of dogs, and many are free or very low price!

pick up one off the street there are plenty around ...OK still not the right answer what about a breeder, pet shop,puppy mill,
you people are never happy with any ones answers
oh that's right it has to be from a shelter
