just ignore her and agree with what she says, i have a sister who is the same way, i think everyone has 1 family member who is like that. If you are the youngest like me, big brothers or sisters love to act like they know it all.

Just let her feel that she knows everything. You do not need to acknowledge the fact, or even comment on it.

Silence really is golden you know. When she states that she knows better than you, then just remain quiet, or just say "interesting". She is probably wanting to rile you or wants you to know that she is older and wiser than you.

Whatever the reason, one day you will not be living with her and then you can believe that YOU know everything.

Meantime, when she states what she thinks is a fact, go into the net and find out what other people say about the subject.
Just for your own information, you can find out if she really does know what she is talking about, or whether she THINKS she knows everything.

It is better to be silent and accept her ways., than to argue the point. That will not get you anywhere.

Don't choose to be sad, because that is what you are doing, choose to be happy., because you will be able to control your own life one day, and it is better to be a happy person, than a negative one.

Learn from how your sister acts, take hints of what not to do, or what not to say. Everything is a lesson in life, and we can make a good thing out of anything, or a negative out of anything.

It is up to you to choose.

If this is your older sister, and you live with her,
she may not know everything, but bet on it
she knows a lot more than you do.
It is very often not that you don't already know
what she is telling you, but that you're not
giving it enough importance in your thinking.

I think the best approach, although it may cause some tension, is to be honest with her about the way you feel about it. If you don't, it will end up being a constant reminder and soon you might get really upset to the point where you really get pissed off. It all starts with letting her know how you feel about.

If she is older then you then she is probably trying to help you out. She has probably made some more mistakes in her life and doesn't want you to make then as well. She is most likely just looking out for her sister.

Many times when people act like they know everything they are actually very insecure. Just treat her with as much love as you can. When she is being a jerk, doesn't mean you need to be.

What is your age? I would suggest you move out as I assume you are younger and maybe she does know everything. Move out before she get to the point she doesn't know everything.
