Its been on my mind for a while (since the release of the Fort Minor CD "The Rising Tied"). One of the lyrics from the song Kenji makes reference to interment camp refugees signing up for the army and allegedly crewing one of the planes that dropped bombs on Japan. Does anyone know otherwise?

There were no Japanese Americans as crew members in Enola Gay or in Bock's Car. Internment camp internees did sign up for the service and many of them fought in one Regimental Combat Team which became known as the "Nisei Brigade" But, their major combat action was in Italy.

No there were no Japanese on the A bomb planes. It amazes me how gullible and easily lead people are, just because someone puts something in a lyric in a song, simply for the symbolism of it, people actually believe it, amazing!!.

No, the only Americans of Japanese descent permitted to fight in the war were part of a regimental combat team operating in Europe.
