I sent some pictures to a Slovakian man in my town that I met through a dating site, but now he wants to meet face to face. I am awfully nervous because he thinks that I am incredibly gorgeous, which is partly my fault because I sent him very nice pictures of me. But the problem is, that I am photogenic, and I don't look like my pictures in real life. Now I want to meet him, but I am feeling apprehensive because I am afraid that he will be disappointed once he sees me in the flesh. I really need serious answers. Thanks in advance.

The fact that you admit that you are photogenic means that you are in deed beautiful. Camera's don't lie, a very nice picture of you simply means that you are indeed pretty. Yes, you are what you are in your pictures, it's just that you might still have some self-esteem issues which makes it harder for you to accept the real you.
I guess you know by now that real beauty, transcends from within you and that what you project physically is a reflection of the beauty which is inside you. I can sense that indeed, you have a beautiful soul.
Should you decide to meet him, give your best smile and show him the real you... Think beautiful my friend! If after that, you still feel that he is disappointed, then excuse yourself and don't even bother to communicate with him. After all, a person who only appreciates physical beauty is a person who is incapable of loving...

Meet him in real life. This is really the only way you're going to work out if he really likes YOU or your pictures.
If he likes your pictures, leave him the pictures.
If he likes you, well ... there's your answer!

Believe in yourself. If you're confident, cheerful, and look him in the eye, you're better-looking than your picture.
Also, Eastern European men know what "real" women are supposed to look like. Not every culture idolizes our skinny American supermodels!

just tell him strait out before he comes and if he has a problem with it then he isnt someone your going to want to be around anyhow ......
