I have a few thousands old 3x5 and 4x6 photos and I would really like to have everything in digital format. I don't want to sit there and scan photos one at a time. Any recommendations would be great.

Lexmark2500 is a pretty good printer/scanner. As far as hundreds of photos...I am not to sure about that. Scanners can only scan so much at a time.

Hmm. Kodak just introduced a few months ago a scanner for big commercial photo stores like Ritz Photo, where you can feed in a box full of old photos by the handful and have them scanned automatically and saved to a disk within seconds. And they can be a mix of different sizes, too. I couldn't find the news story on the WWW (they usually expire within a few weeks off the WWW anyway). However, you might want to dig deeper at the Kodak and Ritz WWW sites. Being able to do this depends on having a store near you that has one of these scanners.... Disclaimer: I don't work for, or have any financial interest in, Kodak or Ritz Photo...
