What are programs you guys recommend for computer matinence, schoolwork, art, movie editing and anything else you think a computer should use for practically anything.

Well, if you are using Windows OS, there are a number of productivity software available.

1. Microsoft Office - word processor, presentation tool, database, spreadsheet.

2. Tune Up Utilities - all-in-one computer maintaince and optimization.

3. Roxio - video editing, ripping, burning...etc.

4. Trend Micro Internet Security Suite - all the security software you will need to stay safe on the Internet (i.e. antivirus, anti spyware and firewall)

5. Internet Explorer and/or Firefox - web browser

6. Thunderbird - desktop e-mail client, write and receive e-mails.

7. PowerDVD - watch your favorite DVD, VCD and video clips.
