Meh.
People don't realize how related they are. That means you share one great grandparent. Kinda gross, but not really... just the word "cousin" makes it sound bad. I don't know hardly any of my second counsins... if I'd dated local people, they may have been related (2d, 3rd, or 4th) and I'd not known about it.
Not illegal in any states that I know of.
To those people who says "gross," etc."
Think about this:
Do you know both of your great grandparents?
How about your grandparents' siblings?
And how about the children of your grandparents' siblings?
And how about the children of the children of your grandparents' siblings?
Those are your second cousins. I've met two of the children of my grandparents' siblings; I only consider them family because one went to my great aunt's funeral and the other calls ever Christmas.
Not advocating incest; just wishing people would put it in perspective.

as long as you are both over age have fun ---- and actually its not incest --- first cousins and as long as you dont have children that then have more children there is really no danger on inbreeding
