Should I just keep asking? I feel so rude, but the money really does pile up! Two dollars a day per movie. She has two out. It has only been a day, so 4 dollars, but I'm worried they won't get back very soon. Should I just pay it and forget it? How should I handle this politely?

A polite reminder is fine, I think.
"I'm sorry to bother you, but I just wanted to let you know that the movies you have are overdue at the library. The fine is two dollars a day, so I'm really hoping that they can be returned soon. Could I come pick up those movies from you so you don't have to take them back yourself?"
Also, you might check on the library's website or at the library if there is a way for you to renew the movies so they will no longer be overdue.

Pay it so the fines don't get bigger, then ask her again. If need be, get the movies back yourself. You're responsible, since it's your card, and hope that she's a good friend and will come through with repayment.

Good luck!

Tell her what you told us. " ____, I am being fined for the movies I lent to you so I really need them back please". If she's offended by that she isn't much of a friend. She should offer to pay, but if she doesn't, pay yourself and don't lend her anything anymore, especially things that don't belong to you.
