in atheism. I have studied the arguments and now feel even more strongly that there is a god. ive looked but nothing about evolution or anything like that makes sense. there are too many unanswered questions. but with god ive felt him and ive experienced him and ive talked with him. really talked if thats not too hard for some of you to believe. and ive personally seen miracles and been in direct contact with the devil. i feel fufilled and thats not anything that i found when looking at the atheist side of things.
but thanks y'all for making my faith stronger.

i would disagree. my experiences are evidence enough for me. my faith is in evidence of things unseen. i pity you that you cannot comprehend the awesome power of god and then you mock me for what you cannot understand.

:) did you know that, humans, even on a psychological side are clinically insane? we are flawed, as a race, but that is no reason to worry. an atheist doesn't believe, a believer does. a man fights for what he thinks is right and a coward doesn't fight at all. these are the things i have learned. i say to try your best to learn as much as you can, and try to find the reasons behind things that make you assume is miracle. science has shown us that a 95lb woman can lift a 3500lb truck off their trapped child. that a good man can do the wrong things and that a psycho murderer can run into a burning house to save the lives of strangers.. faith or science, i say know yourself before you start trying to know anything else.

There are other options than God. Be creative.
I agree that the randomization aspect of Evolution is a bit illogical considering that we have never seen anything function in the same manner.
I like Intervention Theory and Membrane Theory.

Atheism is a lack of faith. Atheists have a lack of faith in existence of any gods. You have a lack of faith in most of them and are almost an athiest, yourself. We just lack faith in one more god than you do.
BTW, human ignorance doesn't demonstrate the existence of a god. Just because there are unanswered questions doesn't mean "God did it" is a good answer.
And, yes, you believe in a god because you "feel" fulfilled. Religion is all about emotional hooks, not real evidence or reason. Just because you have a good feeling about it doesn't make it real. (Or bad feelings, in the case of your "contact" with the devil.) Though, personally, I find much more peace and contentment in reality than I ever had believing in vague religious superstitions.

Your speach looks like an emotional state. Since when emotions have anything to do with reasone.
You fall into your own imagination.
One day you may get lucky to get out and see it from outisde of emotional state and realise that everything is a chemical disbalance.

indeed, "the law is not of faith": Galatians 3
so begin "faith"-->hope-->charity with "grace",
unless you want your hope to be hopeless,
and your charity to be worldly love of $.

Faith or no faith, if you're a kind caring human being, then the rest of it is trivial.

if that's what makes you feel good and warm and all fuzzy inside and secure with yourself, then go with that....(seriously)
....atheist
If you found something that works for you then who am I to tell you science and the experts are wrong?

If you've talked with God, then you should see a Psychiatrist. Also evolution does make sense, even if you lack the mental faculties to understand that.

Congrats on making the leap to our side. :-) It really does make sense the more you look into it.
