in the morning. and you had the whole long day ahead of you, which you needed to participate in. (which means sleep isn't an option) but really, what would happen to you??

You're going to be sleepy. NyQuil has an OTC sleep aide, so yeah, you're going to be wishing you hadn't taken it for a while until the sleep aide wears off.

depends on your tolerance. i can take nyquil and function just fine but have to take benadryl whenever i'm around peanuts so i'm used to it. there is a different antihistamine in nyquil which may make you very tired....i usually take a couple of sudafed with it as that tends to make you more alert (but not everyone reacts like this so you have to be careful)

If you keep active you won't notice it much, but if you just sit around and do nothing you're going to struggle to keep awake. Trust me on this one.
