Yahoo or Google search "New jersey transit," for info on getting into NYC. Then "New York City transit" for its transit maps to your Brooklyn destination.
I hope you had some other reason for booking a hotel 3 - 4 hours away from your interviews.

Well you can drive, take the Garden State Parkway to 22 West, follow the signs to 1-9 North, follow signs to the Holland Tunnel, take the Canal Street exit (last exit from the circle), go all the way across Canal Street to the Manhattan Bridge, cross the bridge and you're in Brooklyn.
Or you can take the NJ Transit railroad that runs through all those shore towns. I believe they connect with the Northeast Corridor that then goes to Penn Station (not sure check http://www.njtransit.com ), where you can then switch to the A or C subway to Brooklyn.

Depends on what "Jersey Shore" motel you are talking about.....a little more details please...Even Atlantic City is about a 3 hour drive by car, so if you are talking Ocean City, Cape May or Wildwood you might want to rent a car. There's also train service out of Philadelphia-the Acela (which is a high speed train takes about an hour)...either way, can't really answer with the slim details that you have provided...Good luck at your interviews, though-hope you get the job!

I think that would be a bad choice. Brooklyn is a long ride from Jersey shore. You sure you didn't mean Jersey City, Then yo could grab a bus or "Path" rite into Manhattan, and the subway to parts of Brooklyn.
