What does it matter? Why is it important that it is specifically described in the Bible or not?
When we pray, we should show respect, honor, and humility because we are praying to the Creator of the Universe. Whether we lay prostrate on the floor, fold our hands and bow our heads, kneel, fold our arms, or extend our arms, with palms up, it is the "attitude" that is important.
Whether or not we cover our heads, or close our eyes, we are not to be boastful, "showy," or prideful. Why WOULD you be in the presence of the Almighty God?
Have a blessed day.

The Gospel of Luke Chapter 22:41-44
This verse of the Agony in the Garden Gethsemane of Mount of Olives.
Kneeling is how Jesus prayed. He then fell further into agony he prayed more earnestly.

The nearest you get to that is Luke 22:41; '... he withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed...'

Jesus did that right before he walked on water since he didn't know how to swim.
I think it is on page 1103 of the Bible.
(...just kidding a little...)

Nope. Jesus was here BEFORE Mohammed, not after. And that was an Arab pagan practice, not Jewish.
