I want to ask all my contacts who are usually around, why did you connect to me? What motivated you to do so?

Honestly, I do not remember..but if someone does say something I very much
agree with, or I have been noticing their answers or questions, I will send out a contact message...regardless of your Religion or your beliefs, I just really want to get to know you...I have met so many wonderful people here...and you my dear Zalem are one of them!!

And then I said, "Uuuhhhh..." which was really more of a concerned moan and I kept stirring my coffee until I realized it had gone cold. I paused, took the spoon out and gently placed it on the napkin. I noticed how the cream-coloured, watery cappucino on the spoon stained the white paper. I looked up at him and he was still talking, not even looking at me. A bus rolled by outside and suddenly I could hear the other patrons talking, mugs and spoons clinking, some newscaster talking about earthquake in LA. It all seemed to hit me with such clarity right then and there. I stood up, pushing my chair out with the backs of my knees, and began to walk away. I expected, even hoped, he would call out after me, grab my arm, something. By the time I reached the door I knew if he did that I would run. No, I would bolt, and if anyone touched me, I'd probably get violent. By the time I reached the end of the block I was running and cackling gleefully my madness finally brimming over with tittering, unfettered passion and I abruptly snatched some old man's fedora, jamming it onto head and forcing my $3,000 Blackberry into his shaking hands. That day was 5 years ago. So far as I know, the guy in the coffee shop is still sitting there, talking.

I don't remember exactly, but for the most part, when I see someone ask a question or provide a response that I admire, identify with, or think is outrageously funny, I'll check their other Q's and A's, if available, and connect to them if I judge that they will add something positive to my experience here.

EDIT: I've since found that you are genuine. And that is saying alot about someone IMHO. I've also noticed that about other contacts that I have.

I ran into you because we were answering many of the same questions. I love to see tolerance and civility on this forum, and you have both qualities. Since I have a son that is probably close to your age, (almost!) your avatar did not influence me. When I see men who are young and handsome my first thought is, "I bet their Mama is wild for their popsicle toes!"

I connected to you for multiple reasons: we have mutual contacts, I find your answers amusing and I wanted the chance to see what questions you star. Plus, you're hawt ;)
