No, revenge begets only more reasons to take revenge. It is a vicious cycle. The better person moves on.

No. You waste your emotional energy on revenge. You seek revenge and that person does some thing else new & mean to you....you seek revenge again...and that person does some thing else new & mean to you. You can stop the evil by walking away.
You can find a new charity that needs your voice, your skills, your time or maybe a little of your money and spend your positive emotional energy on something positive. It helps take your mind off of the pain that person caused you.

If you live "eye for an eye" pretty soon everyone's blind. Taking revenge might feel good at first, but it'll start eating at you until you have guilt, and remorse, and you have to rectify the situation if you want to sleep at night. Best to consider the other person has more to learn, do the right thing yourself, and eventually when you are wronged all you'll feel for the other person is sadness or pity.

I don't believe so, seeking revenge makes you as bad as that person you are hating on at the moment. life is to short to waste on negative people! move on and get over it you have better things to do. Maybe you need to reevaluate what it means to be a good person and why you choose to be one.

each time you call the police or contain the legal device you're exacting revenge. it is in you. you're indignant if something you deem as 'assets' is the two taken, withheld or used without your permission. while you're indignant in any respect you like revenge. while you're no longer solid sufficient to take it for your self then you definately call the police. you won't be able to escape revenge without denying your self of what you notice as 'yours'. that incorporates dignity, rights, area, thoughts, etc. you're maximum excited by controlling what happens to you and while that breaks down you prefer to gratify your self with the help of 'getting back at' what ever took your administration. the priority starts with the thought you're a individual entity.

I don't think so. Revenge is something fulfilling at the moment however in the long run it doesn't solve anything. In my opinion it makes it worse. I know..b/c I've been there.

If it's a law issue, justice should be seeked. Otherwise, getting revenge is juvenile and puts you into the same category as the wrongdoer.

No, beause when you do, it usually comes back on you, and when you don't, universal justice kicks in, it may take a while, and in a different way than you expect, but at least you were the better person for stepping back, it's also called maturity.
