Scientists have recently found a new planet a few years ago which orbits another sun (It is deemed an Extra-Solar planet). What’s interesting, is that this planet is believed to harbor thriving life like on Earth, since it has a favorable atmosphere acclimated towards the evolution of macro organisms. This planet was well-known by ancient civilizations and even included in diagrams of the solar system, yet we are only re-discovering it today.
Intervention Theory suggests that we have always been visited by aliens in the Ancient past, and that the Demi-Gods and God of religion are essentially extraterrestrial beings. Humans may not be a product of evolution, but a product of genetic engineering between Pre-Humans and Extraterrestrials. Which would explain why it has been very difficult to find an authentic missing link between Apes and Humans.

I would be awestruck and amazed. I am a alien enthusiest and something like this would be like winning a million dollars to me. Just knowing that they are out there and we have seen or met them somewhere in time.

A very common coincidence among many religions is that God(or whatever the name may be) isn't a person...human or alien...he or she is believed to be a being, or a higher power. Whether or not that is perceived as an alien (or whatever) is all in the interpretation.
You could probably tell people that God is Gandalf from Lord Of The Rings and provide a (unconfirmed) link to some site somewhere and people would believe it...
It's fun to see your questions, because you always get all the preachy Christians all riled up...keep up the good work.

firstly god is not an alien he is a spiritual being self made and second of all if we evolved from apes were did the apes come from and so forth there is no real visible evidence there is life (in a form of a being) anywhere els in the universe there might be nature but no acutall life forms youv have been decieved by those who dont want to belive there is a god who made us and us only intervention means only just that an exploration of someones idea that doesnt really exist

According to WorldNet, the definition of alien is: a form of life assumed to exist outside the Earth or its atmosphere
Well, God ain't from here, is He? He even said "My thoughts are not your thoughts and My ways are not your ways".
Of course He's an alien, but not like what we'd ever imagined one to be :)

I wouls be very interested to see this planet, if ancient civilizations could see it then we should be able to now.
Do you have any tracking information? I don't expect it to be on a planisphere, but surely it is documented or has a name?
I would doubt it heavily, in all honesty. But I am not of a polytheistic Pantheon so that doesn't sit with me.

Another train of thought suggests that the original life cells came from a comet that landed on Earth. So we could all be aliens in a sense.
