well i took the computer test at the boston meps station before i enlisted in the USAF this past week. And i must say im glad i did it there on a computer rather than taking it on paper. The asvab is not an easy exam plain and simple. That is why the military dosnt require you to score a 60 or higher to actually get in. The air force requires 31 or around there to actually qualify and the army and marines is somwhere around 20. So actually getting in shouldnt be the issue because although that it is hard you wont have a problem getting in unless you are a complete moron which i doubt you are. Now to answer your question the main advandage to the computer test is that you dont have to sit in a quiet room for 3 hours waiting to take each section which is timed. Although you have a limited amount of time during the computer test, you can advance to the next section whenever youve completed the section you are on. So you could be done in an hour whereas if you take the written test with a proctor your in there for the long haul which is about three hours. Id say take the computer test.
As long as youve graduated high school or are going to graduate high school you shouldnt have a problem.
PS i scored an 84.

I took the computer version. I wasn't given the choice. The computer version has got to be faster and you get your score faster. Given the choice, use a computer.
