Your aunt is playing victim... badly. Given that she probably hoped that her daughter had left her house for good, and now has returned to her house with kids in tow... she probably feels put-upon. She probably didn't put the energy into rearing her kids to be responsible people that she needed to.

You can calmly explain to her that your family has been trying to help by looking after the kids and helping to shift the stuff from the place they were evicted from. If she doesn't want this assistance, you will gladly abstain. If she DOES want this assistance, she had better keep a civil tongue in her head. Then let her mull that over.

You can use the answering machine to screen your calls.
You can move to another place at the first opportunity.
A restraining order typically costs money unless you can prove that it is truly endangering abuse. If you call the police for a domestic disturbance, SOMEBODY will be taken in because they don't like people using them and wasting their time.

wow. well, you and your mom are just trying to help for the sake of the children. I think you should report her for harassment. She shouldn't act like a child when she is a senior citizen.
