I know the best option is to ship the kids off to a friends house or somewhere else, but how do you handle being intimate while the kids are also in the house? Have you run into any problems because of them being home?

In the privacy of your bedroom. Make sure you have rules like knock before you enter or lock the door. We always have our time at night after we know kids are asleep. we have also been known to sneak off to another unexpected room (bathroom, laundry room, etc.) during the day.

I would wait until they are in bed at night, or lock your bedroom door and tell them to knock. Say you need some private time with your better half for a little while.

You wait until theyre asleep, and lock your bedroom door. Its not that hard. good grief.
We have no trouble getting the dirty done around this house, thats for sure, and we always have someone living with it, if its not a friend or my brothers its our kid.

The biggest thing is to make it not about just beign alone. Intamcy can be about little things that havemeaning to just you two. Even if it is as simple as three squeezes while holding hands means I Love You.
