That's why I think people should be honest to children. However, someone I knew attempted to equate sanitary towels (pads or whatever you call them in the US) with nappies (diapers in the US), so that their child would understand. After having her nappy changed, the little girl said to her mother, in front of a room full of men 'You change your nappy too' and got her sanitary towels out.

A beautifully set table is enhanced by an artistically folded napkin at the place. See our easy tutorials on how to create 12 different napkin folds. You're sure to find one you love.
Haven't you gone to a party where the hostess has taken the time to make the table look really special? Didn't the napkins, folded to a pretty shape, add to the total feel of the setting? Some napkins are arranged so beautifully that you don't want to use them.
A special table says that you really value your guests when you make the extra effort to set the table beautifully.
Even if you've never folded a napkin in your life, these photo tutorials will make it all simple.
The napkin folds presented here are not complicated or difficult. Each one will take only a few minutes, and you'll be pleased with the results.
Start out with the easy ones and attempt something a bit more complicated when you've mastered one. Some are easy, and some more complicated, some use napkin rings, and all will look more presentable if you have the iron out when you're working.
Try all the folds to decide which one you prefer. You might feel that one style is more casual and another more formal. Choose your favorite for the occasion.

LMFAO!!! I just LOVE when children do those unexpected things!
It reminds me of a story I read in Reader's Digest, "Life in the United States," where a boy asked his mother, "Mom, where do I come from?"
She was a bit rattled by the question, but then started in on a delicate, long explanation of the birds and the bees. The boy's look on his face grew worrisome and confused. Finally, the mother stopped and asked, "What's the matter? Why do you want to know?"
He replied, "Well, Billy in school said that he's from Chicago!"
LOL!!
I'm sure your "Special Napkins" story will be the laugh of many a family dinner and gathering in years to come!!!! Treasure them!!!
Have a polite day.

That's absolutely adorable! My mother always changed the channels when those commercials came on and my brother was around so she wouldn't have to answer those questions. Your sister is too cute!

That's sooo funny! I had a friend who hurt his arm one day and put a pad on it as a bandage. . . that was funny too.
