Taken directly from the owners manual:
"Right-handed version shown. In this illustration the cocking piece is shown ****** (protruding from the rear of the bolt sleeve). The bolt stop (on the left side of the receiver) permits the bolt to be withdrawn simply by pulling it out to the left."
So just depress the lever on the left while pulling the bolt back. Rifle safety must be in the middle 'load/unload' position.

Vise grips do not work well on this. Once manifold is removed. Spray bolt with a good penetrating oil. WD-40 or Rust Buster. Let set to soak in. Then use a small 4 inch pipe wrench. The more you press on the handle the tighter the jaws bite. I showed this trick to a transmission mechanic. He was amazed. "Rigid" brand pipe wrench is the best.

The short version is you simply open your bolt and slide it towards you. With your free hand pull outward on the small lever located on the back left hand side of the receiver (Opposite side from the safety) and your bolt will slide out easily.......

The best way to remove that bolt is to put a nut that just fits over it and arc-weld it to the stud, let it cool and then put a wrench on it and remove it. If it is to short to arc-weld a nut to it the only way to get it out is drill it out and retap the hole. You will never get it out with vice grips if it was tight enough to break in the first place.

Look at the end of the bolt that faces you if it has a knob like feature try pulling back on it gently while turning it slightly. My remington bolt unlocks like that . It might have a slight safety to it too . when its open all the way see if it slides back when you push your safety .some also have a button on the side of the magazine that allows you to remove the bolt while pushing the button .

I have no idea on that one, but on my savage there is a button you press and at the same time you pull the trigger, and pull the bolt out(all at the same time)
