I've looked and looked, I've asked people, and I still can't find it. I hear all the time that christianity is aginit, but I don't see it in the bible. Now, if you have to take everything in the bible LITERALLY, then I REALLY can't find it. So give me that one -- the literal one, and I'll even accept the interpretive ones. I simply can't find them.

Well, again, a lot of quoting that could be interpreted another way. More semantics about the sin not the sinner. The rest of you seem at least to know. I'm not getting much of an education from the christians.

Leviticus talks about a man "laying with another man" but that doesn't sound gay to me. plus, that book is full of CRAZY stuff.
Lot? ya, but right after that, god turns a woman into salt. i mean, if we believe that bible passage, do we also have to pray to the god of Epson Salt?

Leviticus 20:13 is the most-quoted. There are also scattered passages in Paul's letters, notably Romans 1:28.
Of course it's possible to hedge on these apparent condemnations of homosexuality in a hundred different ways. You can say that they've been taken out of context, that they've been mistranslated, misinterpreted, etc. The "Christian" might say of the Leviticus passages that we are no longer under the Law, but under grace. Most scholars agree that certain of "Paul's" letters are forgeries. There's also the consideration that while Leviticus condemns "men who lie with men" to death, it also condemns disobedient children to death; and that while "Paul" says "homosexuals" will not enter the Kingdom, he also says that women should subject themselves utterly to their husbands.
(Note, incidentally, that "Christians" will use all these tricks and more to weasel out of the obvious sense of a Biblical passage that they find embarrassing or inconvenient; but they refuse to allow this MO as applied to the "God hates gays" passages.)
In my opinion, though, all these subtleties miss the point. Who cares what the Bible has to say about homosexuality? It's just a book, or rather a collection of books, written by a collection of fallible men, centuries ago, in a totally different culture. It's simply stupid to pretend that it functions as a moral and ethical guide to "clean living" here in 21st century America. And everybody knows that it doesn't; it's just that some people like to pretend it does, even as they habitually disregard 99.8% of its prescriptions and proscriptions.
In fact, the original proscriptions on homosexuality were probably a practical expedient in the olden days, when non-procreative sex was quite literally a "social crime," when the tribe was always half a disaster away from complete extinction. Nowadays there are 6.5 billion people in the world. Not really the same situation!

This verse alone is enough. The Metropolitan Community Church wants to reinterpret this verse to mean something that it does not imply. They are contriving a context which does not exist. It's very obvious that the verse above is a blanket edict against homosexual sex for men. There is no indications that any exceptions apply.

Romans chapter 1:24-32 (about men and women lusting after their own sex and lying with them or even some giving permission to it).
1 Cor. 6:9-11 Saying such will not inherit God's Kingdom.
Rev. 22:15 (compare Deuteronomy 23:17, 18) Dogs is a reference to homosexuals in the Bible....particularly men who commonly have what is called dog or doggie style sex.
Sex was also forbidden except in marriage and marriage only allowed between a single man and single woman. So that also leaves homosexuals out.

Genesis 2 18 The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him." (seems like man was just helping himself, playing with himself, after all he must have seen the animals doing something).
20......But for Adam no suitable helper was found.
So God created Eve, so the man don't go loving animals or himself. And if Adam was indeed a generation of men (which I believe) then so men do not go after men doing what is suppose to be done with women.
One way or the other is a real fact that the only suitable helper found for man was "The Beautiful WOMAN". Not another man.
Even in natural view of evolutionists natural selection, (male selects female - female select male) = procreation.
Even in mathematical equation: Female + Female = 0
Male + Male = 0

Isn't all sin graded as equal? What about smoking, or drugs or alcohol...desecrating the body? No where. The Bible does NOT condemn homosexuals and does NOT consider homosexual sex a sin.
The passages in Leviticus (18:22 and 20:13), understood IN THE CONTEXT of the time and place, are not an admonishment against loving sexual relationships between people of the same sex but instead against sex as a form of domination and control. Besides, these passages are part of the Holiness Code which is not binding to modern day Christians (or anyone else for that matter).
The story of Sodom and Gomorrah was a warning against rape, inhospitality and xenophobia. The reason for Sodom's destruction is made clear in Ezekiel 16:48-50. According to Ezekiel, the sins of Sodom were pride, laziness, being inhospitable, neglecting the needs of the poor, greed, and idolatry (the worshiping of idols). Nothing about homosexuality is mentioned. If Jude 1:7 describes anything about the sexual immorality and perversion in Sodom and Gomorrah, it's describing RAPE.
1 Corinthians 6:9 was a mistranslation of the word "malakee". It's used elsewhere in the Bible to mean someone who lacks discipline or one who is morally weak, and never is it used in reference to sexuality or gender. 1 Timothy 1:9-10? Misinterpretation. 1 Timothy was an admonishment against male prostitution, not committed, loving same sex relationships.
The words "physin" and "paraphysin" in Romans 1:26-27 have also been mistranslated. Contrary to popular belief, the word "paraphysin" does not mean "to go against the laws of nature", but rather implies action which is uncharacteristic for that particular person. An example of the word "paraphysin" is used in Romans 11:24, where God acts in an uncharacteristic (paraphysin) way to accept the Gentiles. When the scripture is understood correctly, it implies that it would be unnatural for heterosexuals to live as homosexuals and for homosexuals to live as heterosexuals.
