For quite a while now, my body just cannot stand take away foods. particularly mcdonalds! but anything even! i understand that take away isnt exactly healthy eating, but i get abnormally bloated! ppl know wen i have eaten takeaway and im gettin embarassed by it. Not only that, but i run to the toilet when i drink coffee. Im not sure if thats the caffeine or the milk??? I ate sticky date pudding last night, got extremely bloated and woke up in the night with diarreah. i can now see what my body doesnt really like but i want to know why. and is there some sort of explanation or something i can do to prevent this bloated feeling? it makes me feel fat and i hate it! i recently went to fiji and absolutely nothing over there made me feel this way. i think because everything we ate was natural or something. they musnt have any additives or anything. could this help also? please help me guys thankyou so much

The take out is easy. Greasy foods cause gas.
Coffee has caffeine and that si a diretic. It will cause you to go potty.
The date pudding has dates. (DUH) They are high in fiber. That can cause the diarrhea.
Nothing you are saying is abnormal reactions to foods. The only way to know if you really have issues is to track it. Write a journal of what you eat, when you eat it, your restroom 'habits' and anything else that may be interest, such as above normal stress. By looking at that, you may notice a sensitivity to certain foods, or may just notice that the choices you are making causes undesirable reactions in most people, like the 3 you mentioned.
Also, try adding an Activia yogurt to your daily routine. It ca help combat some of the stomach issues most people have. My boyfriend swears by them.

It sure sounds like your body is rejecting something... it's having a great deal of difficulty properly digesting it. I went throught that and found I am lactose intolerant, so much so, I can't have it all unless I use a digestive aid like Lactaid.
This is problematic, though, and before you go thinking that's it, I'd suggest keeping a complete food diary for at least one week. Write down every meal, all the ingredients, even drinks and snacks. Keep track of all the dips and sauces especially. Make notes about how you felt after the meal and then later, and then the next day, etc.
Bloating can be caused by preservatives, salts, sodiums and phosphates or sulfites as well as lactose. But you sure sound lactosey to me.
After you keep the diary for a week, then read it over and see if you can discover the common link. Elimination for a week is the next step.
If you don't want to do that, you can go to the doctor. I did, but it took them 8 long years to figure it out. They are not geniuses in diagnosing this problem.
I can't even take medicine that has lactose in the inactive ingredients.
So, anyway, I think it's worth it to read ingredients, or ask the cook for a week before spending bucks at the doctor.
If it IS lactose; which is milk sugar, try using Lactaids. If it is from preservatives and salts and sodiums, then you need to eat fresh and cook from fresh as much as possible. When you don't you need to cut way down and guzzle lots of water.

You definitely might want to cut out gluten (which is in a lot of products) and dairy. That's probably why you noticed such a big improvement in fiji, is because you weren't eating any processed food or processed sugar. Being allergic to dairy or gluten really doesn't make you that odd in any way.. Many people are indeed sensitive to these things but don't know it, and go through life suffering with different chronic ailments, such as migraines, CFS, autoimmune diseases, etc. etc. Even some people don't care and keep eating foods that bother them just because they taste good. I know the feeling.. but it's up to you. There's something called an ELISA food allergy test which can be done through Meridian Labs in Washington which is really good. Tells you which foods you react to. Or you can simply to a elimination and challenge test where you take out the suspected food for a while, then reintroduce it later on, to see if it has any negative affect.
Good luck

Try staying away from dairy for awhile...see if that helps. If not go to a gastrointestinal doctor. I had stomach problems for years b4 i went to a doctor and found out I could not eat wheat, oats, barely and rye.
