Lavindre...I NEVER said that I would Go back to my Father...are you KIDDING?! I said that I would go back to being a witness......I spent about a year trying to get my father put in Jail..I had to leave that to God...too much time had gone by for me to prove anything....for the Law...for the Elders..but not for God, he will handle it.....There isn't a single day that goes bye, when I do not fear for some innocent child in his cogregation, and what he may do to her.

That is definitely a sad story....

But you LIED about your abuse- yesterday you said you'd return to what you have called a "child-molester haven" over ONE VERSE- you'd go back to a religion that you say "protects the abusers, not the victims".

You need help lady- I am so upset with you for all the lies you have said against the Witnesses. I hope you ask God for forgiveness for all those you mislead. I am so glad I finally saw through your LIES, LIAR!!!!

**** I hear you block everyone who says anything against you, now I'll be able to prove that.

No. Unfortunately, there is some of every type of wrong possible in every religion.

Jehovah's Witnesses are not perfect nor immune to having deceivers come into our midst....I know of none though.

Interestingly, you can search by religious denomination and child abuse on the net and find lots of this stuff on ALL denominations.

My dad left Church of God and Methodist over homosexual (practicing) preachers and child molestation. He was a preacher in both of those churches.

His website talks about the sexual immorality, greed, war, politics, etc. in mainline churches which he refuses to have anything to do with.

In JWs, someone who has a sex offence can never serve as elder in this system even if he is repentant, returns to the faith after prison, etc. And there are NO faith sponsored activities that are done without chaperones. Children are not to be allowed around alone, nor do couples of any age date alone.

There are no Sunday School teachers, no sports teams or buses for the kids, etc. They remain with their parents and there is no reason for another person to get them off alone or want to isolate them...so that is a warning sign.

I hope so, however... they will always justify all the lies and untruths that they participate in. They are classified a cult and twist words into what they want them to mean. The people who are brainwashed by them suffer immensely if they ever see the truth in what they were or are involved in. It is pretty close to or IS abuse to bring a child up in this cult, however the child will probably never see the true harm that it really did as they grow older and continue to defend them to some extent. It is very sad that someone can control a person's mind that even after they leave this cult that they still believe in their heart that God has turned his back on them and there is no hope for them, when this is the furthest thing from the TRUTH !

Silencer..All Sexual predators In Any Form, whether Religiously or otherwise should be brought to Justice.
The Organization does not condone wrongdoing. Whatever your past situation I hope you go on to live a full life.Turning your Back On Jehovah however is a Serious Thing.
Solomon states: “There are six things that Jehovah does hate; yes, seven are things detestable to his soul: lofty eyes, a false tongue, and hands that are shedding innocent blood, a heart fabricating hurtful schemes, feet that are in a hurry to run to badness, a false witness that launches forth lies, and anyone sending forth contentions among brothers.”—Proverbs 6:16-19

The Watchtower Bible & Tract Society's response to abuse alligations:

"For the sake of the victims in these cases, we are pleased that a settlement has been reached. Our hearts go out to all those who suffer as a result of child abuse. Jehovah’s Witnesses worldwide are united in their abhorrence of this sin and crime.—Romans 12:9.

We do not condone or protect child molesters. Our elders expel unrepentant sinners who commit this crime. (1 Corinthians 5:13) In the United States, over 80,000 elders currently serve in over 12,300 congregations. (Acts 20:28) During the last 100 years, only eleven elders have been sued for child abuse in thirteen lawsuits filed in the United States. In seven of these lawsuits against the elders, accusations against the Watchtower Society itself were dismissed by the courts. Of course, one victim is one victim too many. However, the incidence of this crime among Jehovah’s Witnesses is rare.

Congregation elders comply with child abuse reporting laws. (Mark 12:17; Romans 13:1) We do not silence victims. Our members have an absolute right to report this horrible crime to the authorities. The October 2007 issue of our monthly journal Awake! features the cover series, “Keep Your Children Safe!” These articles clearly show our concern for protecting children from sexual abuse."

Please stop making a mountain out of a mole hill.

You are not the only child to be molested, religion has nothing to do with it. It has to do with a sick/perverted individual. I was molested by an uncle by marriage and by a cousin. Both raised Baptist. I do not blame the Baptist church, nor did I pursue justice thru the court system. Sometimes it's best to forgive and forget and get on with your life. That is the healthy thing to do. If you can't do it on your own, seek professional help.

My dad always said...when your neighbor's house is on fire, you need to throw water on your own.
Sex abuse within religious groups are quite common among very many Churches. Some Churches are able to keep it secret but sooner or later it will all come out. It's not something to be happy about if you are the member of a church. Trust me.

Very interesting article. I truly feel sorry for an innocent child that have been tortured physically and mentally. You have claimed to been abused so brutally like that when you was a little girl. That is terrible! But you did tell mommyof1 if your dad proved one scripture in his NWT Bible to be true, you would go back to him. I find that to be troubling and confusing for a battered victim wanting to go back to her assaulter.

Wow... it all goes back to people being people and that means some of them will inevitable be sick. I for one see throwing stones at any organization futile. I would run out of stones pretty quickly. That's why I am convinced that if there is indeed a God responsible for the creation of our universe that no one on this earth represents him properly. And that is just sad.....

Its incredible someone would say "Please stop making a mountain out of a mole hill. " I wonder how many children need to be abused before this person thinks its a major issue.

Most of the witnesses I talk with about this are either in denial or say those people must have been former witnesses.
