It says it gets up to 28 mpg, but the average is around 22-26. Still really good compared to a lot other choices. The hybrid averages around 28-32 mpg. They are overall nice and comfortable SUVs http://www.fordvehicles.com/suvs/escape/

Best mileage obviously would be a 4 Cylinder, 5 Speed model. For an SUV you can get great mileage.

I've seen numbers around 14 city/22-26 highway depending on how the vehicle is driven. The hybrids don't get any better.

no longer one doubt.. in the beginning, gas expenditures the place I stay are 3 earnings keeping with gallon. I pay a million/2 as lots in keeping with month as countless my buddies. Secondly, you will get tax cuts for driving a hybrid motor vehicle. it relatively is area of this finished government software that encourages hybrids. And ultimately, why no longer be environmentally friendly? i don't comprehend in case you suspect all that stuff approximately international warming, yet you could not deny that our Earth isn't getting any cleanser with something of the inhabitants driving their gas-guzzlers around. different than that, the get away Hybrid isn't that lots distinctive from the get away itself. The AC is somewhat vulnerable, yet once you're fantastic with that then I incredibly RECCOMEND this motor vehicle.

I would trade it in for the Mercury version.....the Mariner. We have owned 2 of them and LOVE them. They average around 17MPG city, and about 24-26 Highway. That is for the 3.0Liter. The 2.3 gets even better mileage!!!

We get around 20 miles. My opinion - go for the Mazda Tribute; it's way more comfortable for the same vehicle (they're almost identical).
