Panties made my daughter want to go in the potty, but she had trouble getting 'there in time' for awhile. She eventually got a hang of and after she made it the first time she's only had 2 - 3 accidents since.

My son seems to do well with the method, though he's gotten to the point where he wants to play instead of having to use the toilet. Fun. Until then, however, giving him "big boy" underwear, he knew something was different right away and only got them wet once, and even then it was hardly noticable. I've also heard to have them try to use the potty every half an hour at first, then extend the time from there until they're asking to go potty when they need to. We'll probably be doing that next, so he gets the idea that he needs to stop what he's doing and use the potty. I haven't tried using just underwear overnight, yet.

It can work. My 2 year old daughter picked out her own special panties and will keep them clean unless she is busy playing. If she doesn't want to stop playing she won't. She will however remove her soiled panties on her own or come and tell me she had an accident. Good luck.

Haha absolutely!! I tell my 2 year old daughter, "Big girls use the potty and wear princess panties!" She loves it! Even though my doctor said not to reward her with things after she uses the potty (like candy; hehe) i did it anyways because it works sooo great for me! She tells me when she has to go potty, even if it is a little bit, because she knows she is going to get an M&M (ONE) when she is finished!

it can work...but only if the child is ready to be trained. you can't push them into it too soon no matter how many pairs of princess panties you buy.
