Heck yes. I'm actually on the search to find a guy that is a cook. I mean I wouldn't mind learning too but still I can't make all that many things. So If he can really cook up a great meal or something every so often. That would be great. That is also the main reason why I would love a guy that could cook, because I seriously can't do it, without burning the meal up or something. Besides I would be game to wash the dishes and provide dessert ;).

I don't know if it's sexy or hot (no pun intended), but it's certainly a plus from a practical point of view. There's no reason on earth why cooking has to be exclusively a woman's job. Some of the finest gourmet chefs in the world are men. I think they put a lot of thought and effort in creating memorable cuisine. I'm not knocking women, but from my own experience when I was working, I would simply throw something together, heat up leftovers, or go to a restaurant:)

I think it is very sexy when a man knows his way around the kitchen. It can be so romantic when a man prepares a wonderful dinner for you. It's thoughtful and something that he's doing (not buying) for you. It takes times and thought. However, if you can't cook you are better off ordering food and playing it off as your own. Just make sure it's from a place that she's never been to and a place that the food isn't out of your cooking league.

Best question I've seen so far (and I have seen Hawkins question, too - it led me here). I am guy, allright? But I smell answer can be of interest, now that there are so MANY entries by ladies ;-) I LOVE this reaction. You are so sexy, ladies in here!
Why? Because, it gets my inside on, speaking about good food or working on such. It is like great music, great art, great sports (to others), and so on. It is about excellence, excellence of beauty of taste and of treatment of very fundamental things in our being. Meeting the food and your abilities over it is as rich experience, as getting to the Moon another time. Must surprise.
I don't see how those powers cannot be impressive, really, please do not speak about handy foodhandling when you are tired, that can be only side-experience. Gods bless Jamie!
And THANK YOU, My Dear, for ready help, when I'm not in the mood for moonwalking. I must be bit sexier another day ;-)

yes! my man cooks like none other. he makes a badass pho. he's basically a cooking master. yesterday he made chicken soup from scratch, chai tea from scratch. he also makes awesome cajun chili, seared tuna steaks, he can pretty much cook anything. cooking is a skill and a big plus in a relationship. it's super sexy to see a man hard at work in the kitchen making a delicious meal for his lady. some meals are defintely worthy of gettin some.

yes it is very hot and I love it. My boyfriend and I both work hard and when I come home from breaking my butt all day and he makes dinner, even if on the grill, I love it!
and he can clean and do dishes too. true I usually do it but like I said, I break my butt, he does dinner and chores, i muster up the energy for a backrub or dessert.... ;)
I think the first time he made me dinner I fell in love! and ate more of it than he did. and i'm a small girl!
also my ex could not cook and always wanted me to cook and was VERY picky. if I did not make it like his mommy did he would not eat it! Ugh! even when I had a newborn and cooked dinner he would turn his nose up or go to mommy's to get dinner. >:O

I don't know if it's sexy or anything, but I do love it that my husband not only knows how to cook, but enjoys it and is very good at it. This means that I don't have to cook all the time (actually he mostly cooks), and that I can enjoy what he makes. It also give me time to do other things like cleaning and making sure the kids have their homework done.

Yes! Why? Because I don't cook! I bake...its much more fun. Plus whenever a guy can cook it shows that he's taken the time to learn the 'how to.' So he must be responsible and have some sort of good moral and character.

Absolutely.
If a guy's sexy and a great lover, he's a lot of fun in the sack. . . if he has other talents, he may just be fun all the time. . . ie: a keeper.
My guy totally impressed me by repairing some rotten boards on my deck and mowing the yard for me while I was at work. . . but the big "wow" was when I walked in the door and he'd grilled steak & shrimp kabobs and made new potatoes with rosmary and garlic. . . the whole house smelled great, and he dished it up by candlelight and served himself up for dessert.
I married him.

Heck yeah it is. It really isn't fair that the woman has to cook all the time and the only time she gets a break is when you go out to eat. It is seriously sexy to come home and your man has cooked a meal that is edible.
