I would get San Andreas.Vice city stories is good,so is Liberty city stories,but San Andreas is larger and more in depth.I own all of them,and San Andreas is my fave.

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas is the best Grand Theft Auto game to buy hands down. GTA San Andreas has a very large game map, the main story mode is pretty lengthly as well, and it's just a fun game to play.
For some reason, I haven't bought any of the Grand Theft Auto Stories or Vice City Stories games. I just don't consider Vice City Stories and Liberty City Stories true Grand Theft Auto games or something because it's like a side story to a previous GTA game.

Honestly, I think GTA San Andreas was the best game ever made. Like it wasn't ground breaking but it was. You get GTA with so much more shyt. Big map, no load screen, CJ talks (lol, GTA 3 guys comes back....still mute) you can fly, parachute, jetpack. And I mean the missions never end, you can always do things, and even the actual missions take a while to do so you're hooked on playing. Go with San Andreas its sooooo much better than all the others, it may even better than IV (but IV will be sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet)

Personally i prefer San Andreas i have been playing it for the last two years it's the best game i have had...there are loads of side missions and the walkabout is excellent

san andreas hands down. it had alot more features like gambling, working out, getting a haircut etc
