Ive been with my bf for almost 4 months now, and we are both completely in love with each other. He asked me about a month ago about moving in together. We finally planned it out and will move in together in June 2008, when both our rent contracts are over. He is definately sure he wants to live with me and I am too. Hes always at my place or I am always at his, so we kinda are already living together. We both currently live an hour and a half away. We planned out where we want to live, which will be near my school, cuz i still have 1.5 years left to graduate as an engineer. We have great communications skills between us. Im sure we will both do fine living together as he says so too. He wants to make sure we can live together fine before getting married. What are your guy's opinion on this ? Also my parents will flip out and will not agree with me doing this, they are catholic, but when would be a good time to tell them i wont be going back home anymore since i will live with my bf?

i think the best time to tell them would be once you guys already have a place picked out and its 100% certain you move in. once you've worked out all the particulars, then you should tell your parents as soon as possible just so they can warm up to the idea before it actually happens.

Four months is not a very long relationship, and you're likely still in the honeymoon period where everything is wonderful and good. For that reason, I would not tell your parents until it gets much, much closer to your moving date. If things go sour between now and then, at least your parents can't give you the whole I-told-you-so speech.

you should tell them asap at least give them a heads up. if your of age they cant do ne thing about it bc your an adult and can make your own decisions. living with a boifriend is not gonna be easy me and my boo have been livin together for 3 months already and we do fight alot but it also brings us closer together. of course its a lot more responsibility you have to share bills and stuff but its also fun! you have your own privacy and can do what ya "do" everywhere and ne where! lol but its not gonna be all fun and games just realize that before you both move in together bc that is really important.
