I usually don't pray that the sick will be healed. I pray instead that God will work through the sick persons infirmity.
Remember, it may not be in his will that a person is healed. More good may come in the kingdom of God without healing occuring.
Your will be done.

We pray with faith and we pray with confidence, God already knows our need before we even ask but, how great it is to share in his glory when he meets us in our need.

Sometimes, God needs a reality check. His original plan for Adam's life partner was a goat, or some other animal.

God is kind of like my little brother. He doesn't mind doing it, but dang if you don't have to keep him on track and ask like a million times.....
I think he's ADD, you ask for a miracle, and he goes, "OH look! A chicken!"
