YES!

I sell them. They are WONDERFUL.

If you can find an outlet location, you will pay about 35 % less than a williams sonoma location.. and that's just at sticker price. The outlets ALWAYS have sales, and if you're looking for saucepans, you can probably create a "set" out of them and get a deeper discount. They also take phone orders and we outlets are known for our customer service. They'll treat you right..just tell them what you're looking for. Usually during the holidays, if you spend a certain amount of money.. you get free shipping.. so why not? Just wrap the box and you're set!

Just remember...color is key.. if your wife specifically wants a certain color, don't deviate from that.. these pans LITERALLY have a 101 year warrantee... so she'll have them forever.

feel free to message me if you need any more help.. I'm top seller at my location, and I have and use a full set myself. I can tell you anything you need to know, especially how to get the best deal.

That goes for everyone else here, too! :)

for general all purpose cooking i prefer all clad. i have their sauce pans, frying pans, and saute pans. However, I absolutely adore my le creuset 8" non-stick omelet pan, and my 3 1/2 and 5 1/2 quart dutch ovens. Those are the only three pans I have from Le Creuset. They are great because you can start something on the stove top and then transfer to the oven.

i definately recommend le creuset, but I am not a big fan of buying things in sets. I prefer to build my own inventory of pots and pans based on what I use the most. You can get more bang for your buck if you buy a better quality pan that you use every day, then a set where you only use 3 of the 9 piece.

The only con is the weight but I guess that's why they cook so well. The dutch ovens are the best for stews and long cooking recipes. As for saucepans I think you could do quite well with the cheaper alternatives. See if she would like a dutch oven instead cause that's really worth the price. You have a very lucky wife.

Yes they are - I don't know about the saucepans, but the Le Crueset lidded casserole dishes (that can go on the hob and in the oven) are brilliant and will last for ever.
I use mine for roasting and slow cooking and everything tastes better when cooked in them. They're very expensive - tip: I've always bought mine after xmas when the sales are on as a good one will set you back around £80.

They are a 'status' thing. If your wife is likely to want to brag about her cookware go ahead. However, I'd say they are too heavy for everyday use unless your wife is cooking very large quantities of food regularly. They're best for long slow cooking. They're an indulgence and not really necessary as there are much better modern pans that have been designed for modern kitchens.

Le creuset is great for a stewpot and casserole. I have a number of them in my collection. For a frypan or a saucier though, you can't beat AllClad. Don't have to get fancy, the MC2 line is nearly perfect. If you are serious about cooking, both of these brands are well worth the premium price.

My Mum loves her set, she's had them for about thirty years so they are good... however, they are really heavy so they don't come out often. Plus, it's mothers day, that usually qualifies a £20 gift - Le Creuset are a little more than that!

They don't cook things any better than other reasonable quality pans - they are simply trendy and another triumph for the advertisers promoting yet another "label". They will last a lifetime but they are so heavy. Drop one on your foot and you are crippled for life. They will also crack an enamel sink with no trouble if you are a bit careless when washing up. Then again it is not for me to tell you how to spend your money - and if you love your wife? Well........................................

Yes, I think they are. You'll never need to buy her another set, but tell her not to drop 'em on your glass hob if you've got one. That's expensive too!

Anyway, aren't you the lucky one. A wife who wants saucepans for Christmas!!! Give her a full set...

There are wonderful pans, and I would love to have a set, but I cant use then as they are so heavy. I have a problem with my wrist and once they have food in them I just dont have the strength to lift them.
