i dont like religions who push their beliefs on others, who are violent, who condemn others for not believing the same, for saying they are the one and only true religion.
This basically includes Christian religions, and Islamic religions, very few other religions have such evil practices.

I'm not an atheist; I'm just a Christian with plenty of atheist friends. In my experience, they don't "hate" religion (except when it infringes upon their rights, in which case, they definitely should be speaking out). They also dislike heavy-handed proselytizing attempts, just as I do. Rather than hating various religions, they simply don't subscribe to them. What do you mean by "true faith" religions? I've definitely heard atheists aiming skeptical comments toward Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Wicca, and a wide variety of other belief systems.

Atheists worship what they call "rationality", which is a western philosophical construct that establishes intellectual elites with which they usually identify. Their emotional reactions to other religions different from their own are similar to those of adherents of other western religions which all tend to be devoted to an epistemological monopoly supported by a sacred "book". To me, atheism has much more in common with the other "mainstream" western religions than any of them do with Earth-based religions or shamanism. The main difference between atheism and Judeo-Christian-Islam is that the latter externalize "rationality" and power-over onto their "God" while atheists internalize it and worship it in themselves.

As an Atheist I don't hate any religion.
As a moral person I hate religions which advocate what I consider immoral acts.
As a rationalist I hate religions which advocate irrational ways of thought.
But as an Atheist I just don't believe in any sort of god - there's no hate involved - more amusement and pity.

Atheists do not hate religion, they deny the existence of a supreme being/God or "ruler" therefore they ask "who are all these religionists worshipping". I do actually believe in a supreme God/ruler yet I despise religion, Religion is designed to divide people, to set one against the other. True believers in God or a divine ruler do not need a set of theories to adhere to, or a pile of bricks to worship in, they are too busy trying to be a good person. Love is all you need, for each other and the world in which you live, it is that simple!

Hate is probably not the best word to use. Religions don't hate atheists but they disregard them as unworthy human beings. It's very difficult for religious people to understand that there are other options in life and that non-religious people and other types of religious people can be decent human beings.
I read these pages for "laughs" because it's hard for me to understand why there is so little use of logic and reason in this world.

Atheists, my friend, do not hate religions and I think you are saying it to relieve your guilty conscience. They laugh at them.
It is the religious people who hate atheists and throughout history have been punishing them, even burning them on the stake. The Muslims still kill them. You better read some history in addition to your mambo jumbo.

We don't "hate" any religion. We just don't believe in god. It doesn't exist as far as we are concerned. Religious values are often good at their base value. Don't kill, steal, etc. We just don't think we need some book to tell us that. Many atheists are Buddhists, Taoists, etc. Those religions have no gods involved in their practice.

Atheism has nothing to do with "hate" for any religion. Atheism simply means the absence of belief in ANY god.

I do not hate all religions. I just thinks of them as misguided and a waste of thought and energy. I do, however, hate those who hate atheists
