As far as 9-11 ;I personally am from NY and I will tell you that about a thousand muslims died that day and I can trulely say it was horrifying. It was a terrorist attack and they killed indiscriminatly so I as a New Yorker take offense to anybody who expects me to be apologetic to someone elses actions it disrespects the families of the muslims that died that day .And it disrespects my cousins who are in the NYPD who risked their lives that day.Millions of muslims condemed it and personally I did not see any one dancing in the street on the news.Every muslim that was interviewed condemned it .

The word "ARAB" as used in Scripture, according to numerous lexicons, including the famous Strong's, means "MONGREL RACE". Do you agree that the Scriptures declare you, being 'arab' as you say, as part of a mongrel race, and what effect does that have on your ability to receive the Scripture and the promises in them, seeing as the Adoption, Covenants, and Promises pertain only to physical Israylites? Romans 9:3-5

Is this really the reason you are 'muslim', because the promise of the Scriptures do not pertain to you??

This is actually a genuine question/obvervation:

When I was in elementary school, several Muslim children attended it with me. I noticed that alot of their mother wore the traditional garb i.e. long clothing that fully covered their clothing along with their head piece [do remember what it's called, forgive me].
However, one mother, chose to Americanize herself and wore jeans and t-shirts etc.
Now, the women who stuck to wearing traditional outfits did not like this woman because she broke their laws [or code or decorum... you get the picture].
However, I notice the women who wore the traditional clothing would always wear clothes that wore tight- meaning they would wear turtle necks that clung to their bodies along with skirts that hugged their shape, leaving very little to the imagination [well, as little as you can get with being completely covered and clothed].
The woman who wore Western clothing, however, wore loose fitting clothes; things like bigger t-shirts that could have been her husbands and loose fitting jeans. She did not like the women who adhered to the Muslim dress code because they would always be sure to wear clothes that wear tight fitting which defeated the purpose of covering up to begin with.
My question is- what do you think about this situation? Who would you side yourself with? The woman who obeyed their religious laws but snuck through loopholes or the woman who dressed as she would but made sure she didn't wear tighter clothing?
