See no problem with teasing others, and making obsurd comments to theists. I certainly wouldn't like it if someone put a negative character discription on me. I certainly would have a problem if people assumed that I enjoyed being nasty to others.
Do atheists do this, because they feel that they have some humanitarian right or duty to do so? What and/or whom gives them the authority to educate me or any other theists? What makes the atheist point of view the end all to be all?

Damn Conan, I forget one "S" and you get on my case. How many lashing do I get for that "S"? Did I make any more mistakes? I better get some ointment?

I don't like the term troll, but several of my questions have been deleted. They must of been reported by atheists (I remembered the "S", Conan), because theists LOVE ME. At least I think they do.

What does someones comments on the GLT section have to do with me? I have asked several questions in that section and they were all respectful, I haven't got one complaint from any regular on that section. Thank you very much.

Don't claim to know what I have said in my posts unless you can provide proof. My profile is not set to private. I have never called an atheist an atheist mafia. Plus as for the word Ni&&er I don't give that word any credit.

All I see is a bunch of excuses for bad behaviors and piss poor attitudes. What a sad bunch.

Elizabeth:
There is a big difference between asking questions with the intent of wanting to understand something or at least to show show that you are capable of having some respectable interest in something, and being a complete smartass. If you can't see the difference then that is your character flaw not mine.

Texas,
you can use any book as a reason to be full of hate. You can use the "Origin of Species" as an excuse to be full of hate. In fact several people have. So I don't see what you are getting at.

Conan, thanks for keeping me on my toes. Yes I think that proper grammar is important. By the way, do you correct the grammar of atheists too. A thumbs up from me.

People call people names. Those by whom the names are called might resent the names, or they might, in a spirit of good fun, begin to call themselves the name as well, thus deflating the intended insult.
By the way, your failure to use the plural of "atheist" seems to have played havoc with your verbs.
You've made several mistakes, actually. You have used two auxiliary verbs in your question, to begin with.
You will probably dismiss this as being unimportant, but you must bear in mind that language is the material with which we think. If you're sloppy with your language, your thinking is apt to be influenced.

Theists like you called us that at one time, so we embraced the term. We're in the minority, we have to stick together. Black people did the same thing. White people called them ni@@ers, so they embraced the term and started calling each other ni@@er because they were in the minority and needed to stick together. We feel that you are delusional because you believe in what essentially is the cosmic equivalent of Santa Claus (a guy who knows everything you do, will punish you for your wrongdoings via lack of rewards, rewards your good deeds with presents (read:heaven) but does not really exist and was just made up to keep people in line. We are your parents, you believe in Santa Claus, now you are 30 years old, and we have to tell you Santa Claus does not exist because you are too intelligent at this point in your life (read: at this point in mankind's history) to believe in such nonsense.

If asking honest questions in the hopes of provoking an actual THOUGHT PROCESS in one who believes in invisble sky deities is "teasing", we're guilty as charged.
I personally believe that the most humanitarian thing to do would be to erradicate religion, as it has created much of suffering in the world, and ignored the rest.

It is a reaction to a "question" a week or so ago. The poster blamed the "atheist mafia" for reporting her questions.
It is essentially a parody of that remark, and it appears to have stuck around.
None of us are report "trolls".

I don't agree with the teasing but you could ask some Christians the same question with regard to the last paragraph.

Actually, the term "Athiest Mafia" was coined by a rabid anti-atheist Christian with paranoid tendencies. After a string of conspiracy-laced attack questions, the AM designation was adopted in defiance.

The same could be said about any religion. How about you try something new like not being a bigot. Good luck with that.
