It's a question that gets answered almost once a day here.
Did you really feel a need to ask AGAIN?
It's not like the many page long responses that were already posted would have changed in the last week.
Are we just doing this to keep adding to the race between the long hate-scientology answers and the long love-scientology answers for best answers? Sometimes I wonder how many of these are "hey ask this question again so I can paste my answer again and you can pick me as best answer so I can raise my rating"
(I'm not picking on THIS asker, just the many times it gets asked)

Scientology presents itself as an applied religious philosophy.
Dianetics is a therapy to help get rid of things in your mind that make you unhappy and stop you from obtaining your full potential.
It is dangerous in that there are some truths but there are also very dangerous lies.The truth makes sense and makes you want more but because most people are not well trained in psychology or other philosophies on the mind , they believe the lies to be true also .
Before they know it they are believing in aliens and spacecrafts.
They will use any type of mental manipulation trick under the sun , moon and stars to confuse you, embarrass you and make your life miserable.
I am not telling you to be afraid of them.most of them are confused and don't know this is being done to them.

Pay as you know group. The more you pay the more you know...Look at time magazines expose they did on this group back in the late 80's or early 90's...once they have you they don't let you go...they are a scarry bunch...
